Provenance: Downtown Gallery, NY (Sheeler's primary dealer and estate dealer
into the 70's) & Terry Dintenfass Gallery, NY (who handled the artist's estate
in the 70's and early 80's).

A rare work, dating from the late 40s when Sheeler returned to
abstracted subject matter.
